Element types: the full list

All 26 building blocks you can put in a material, what each one does, and which plan includes it.

Basic elements — on every plan

Element	What it does
Text	Rich text and explanations, with formatting and formulas.
Image	Upload or embed one or more images.
Video	Embed a lesson video.
Audio	Audio with an optional transcript.
Files	PDFs, documents and presentations.
Dictionary	Word and translation pairs, with pronunciation.
Note	A highlighted note — can be hidden from students, for your own reminders.
Embed	Miro, Wordwall, Quizlet, Genially and similar.
Link	A button that opens an external page.

Multiple choice	Pick one or more correct options.
Open question	Write a free-form answer.
Record audio	Record their voice for you to listen to.
Cloze with dropdowns	Choose the right option for each gap in a text.
True / False	Classify statements as true, false or not stated.
Fill in the blank	Type the missing words.
Match words	Connect two columns.
Flashcards	Study front-and-back card pairs.
Gap-fill with word bank	Drag words from a bank into gaps.
Arrange by columns	Sort items into named categories.
Word ordering	Build sentences in the correct order.
Numeric answer	Answer with a number, with optional tolerance and unit.
Match words to images	Put each word under its picture.
Unscramble	Reorder shuffled letters to spell a word.
Put text in order	Arrange sentences or paragraphs correctly.
Enter the word for the image	Type the word that matches a picture.
Select the word for the image	Choose the word that matches a picture.
