Maths and science notation, private tutor notes, and putting Miro, Wordwall, Quizlet or Genially inside a material.

Formulas

Text elements and whiteboards both support mathematical notation, so fractions, powers, roots and Greek letters render properly instead of being typed as plain characters. Maths, physics and chemistry lessons do not need images of equations.

Notes only you can see

A Note element is a highlighted block for guidance. It has a hidden from student option — switch it on and the note is your own teaching reminder: timing, the question to ask next, the answer you expect. Leave it off and it is a highlighted tip for the class.

Embedding another tool

The Embed element puts an external activity inside your material. It is built for the tools teachers already use:

  • Miro — collaborative boards
  • Wordwall — games and quizzes
  • Quizlet — sets and study modes
  • Genially — interactive presentations

Paste the URL or the embed code the other tool gives you, and set a height if the default crops it. The activity runs in the lesson — nobody opens another tab.

Embedded activities live on the other company's servers. Their answers do not come back to Classario's answer roster, and if the other service is down or blocked on your student's network, the embed will not load. For anything you want to track, build it as a Classario exercise.

When something should not be embedded — a long reading, a site that refuses to be framed — use a Link element, which shows a labelled button that opens it in a new tab.
