Tutor seats and how they are billed
What counts as a seat, when seats become chargeable, and what happens when you add or remove a tutor.
Only relevant if you run a school with more than one member of staff.
What counts
- Your own admin account is free. It is never counted as a paid seat.
- Students are free and unlimited, on every plan.
- The School plan includes three tutors.
- Each tutor beyond those three is a paid seat: $15/month, or ₽1,490/month by Russian card.
Free during the trial
Tutors cost nothing while you are on your 14-day trial. Invite the whole team, set up their students, and decide afterwards.
How it appears on your bill
Seats are a second line on the same subscription, charged by quantity, alongside the plan itself. Add a tutor and the quantity goes up; remove one and it comes down. The Team page shows the seats in use and tells you before an addition changes what you pay.
Freeing a seat
Remove the tutor from Settings → Team. Their lessons and materials stay in the school — the library and the timetable are the school's, not theirs.
If your subscription lapses, tutors are the ones who lose access first: they see a page asking them to contact their admin, while owners and admins keep billing access and students keep their assigned work.
