Joining a lesson

How to get into class on time, what the classroom looks like from a student's side, and what to do if the video will not start.

There is no meeting link to find. Your lesson is on your Calendar; click it to go in.

Before you start

  • Use a recent browser — Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox.
  • Allow camera and microphone when the browser asks. Without that your teacher cannot see or hear you.
  • Headphones help more than any setting.

Inside the classroom

  • The video call on one side, with mute and camera buttons.
  • The lesson material on the other: the texts, images and exercises your teacher prepared. Type your answers straight in — they save as you go, and your teacher can see how you are doing.
  • Chat for links and messages during the class.
  • Dictionary — the new words from today. These turn up later in your Practice list, so it is worth adding them.
  • Whiteboard tabs, if your teacher opens one. You can draw on it when they allow editing.

On a phone, use the Call and Lesson tabs to switch between the video and the material.

If something does not work

  1. Reload the page — that fixes most of it.
  2. Check the address bar for a blocked camera icon and allow access.
  3. Close other apps using your camera.
  4. Still stuck? Open /diag on the Classario site: it checks your connection and tells your teacher or support what is wrong.

Answers are saved on the lesson, not in your browser. If you get disconnected or switch device, your work is still there.
