Sign-in problems
Expired invitations, forgotten PINs, wrong addresses, password resets and the "invitation is waiting" page.
"Invitation expired" or the link does nothing
Invitations are single use and expire. Ask whoever invited you to Resend invitation — that issues a new link and retires the old one. Open the newest email.
"This invitation is for a different email"
An invitation can only be accepted with the exact address it was sent to. If you signed up with a different one, ask for a new invitation to the address you actually use.
"Your invitation is waiting"
You are signed in but have not accepted yet. Accept it from that page, or from the original email.
A student cannot sign in with their PIN
- The login may be a username, not an email — type it exactly as given, with no @.
- The PIN is six digits and is used in the password box.
- A teacher can look it up again: the student's card → Show login & PIN.
- If it has been reset since, the old PIN stops working. Get the new one.
Forgotten password
Use Forgot password? on the sign-in page and follow the emailed link. Owners and admins can also send a reset to a member from the Team page.
Signed in but nothing is there
You may be in the wrong space. If you belong to more than one school, use the space switcher above your name in the sidebar.
"You were removed from this school"
Your access to that space has been withdrawn. Contact the school. You can also start your own space from that page if you teach independently.
A tutor sees "access is paused"
The school's subscription has lapsed. Only an owner or admin can fix it, on the billing page.
An account closed by the person themselves can only be reopened by them — a teacher cannot reactivate it on their behalf.
