Creating and assigning homework

Three ways to build an assignment, choosing who gets it, and setting a due date and instructions.

Open Homework in the sidebar and press New homework. Classario offers three routes.

Assign it

  1. Give it a title students will recognise.
  2. Pick the students — individuals or everyone in a group.
  3. Set a due date and time, if you want one. It is optional.
  4. Add instructions — a sentence at the top of the assignment. "Finish both exercises before Thursday, and check your answers when you are done."
  5. Assign.

Each student gets their own copy. They appear as separate rows so you can see at a glance who has done what.

The homework list

The list has tabs for All, Assigned, Submitted and Completed, with columns for material, student, assigned date, due date and status. Drafts you have not assigned yet sit alongside, marked Draft.

Homework is part of Pro and School, and included in the trial.
