A tour of the interface

What each item in the sidebar does, and where to find the things that are not in it.

Everything in Classario hangs off the left sidebar. This article names each part so the rest of the help centre can refer to them.

The sidebar

The bottom of the sidebar

  • A language switcher — Classario's interface is available in English, Spanish, German, French, Russian and Ukrainian.
  • Report an issue — sends a message straight to support.
  • A plan card showing your trial countdown or current plan, with an upgrade link. Only owners and admins see it.
  • Generate lesson — opens Cleo AI.
  • Start lesson — creates an instant "Quick lesson" and drops you straight into the classroom.
  • Your name and avatar, with sign-out. If you belong to more than one school, a space switcher appears here too.

Pages that are not in the sidebar

  • The classroom opens on its own when you start or join a lesson.
  • The lesson editor opens when you create or open a material.
  • A whiteboard opens full-screen from the Whiteboards page or from inside a lesson.
  • /diag is a connection self-test you can open if video will not load.

On a phone: the sidebar collapses into a bottom bar with a More sheet holding the rest of the items. Classario is responsive web — there is no separate mobile app to install.
