Adding tutors to your school

Invite a tutor by email or create their account yourself, and see how seats are counted.

Owners and admins only. Everything is under Settings → Team.

Two ways to add someone

  • Invite by email — they get a single-use link and set their own password. Best when they have a working email address.
  • Create account — you make the login and Classario gives you a 6-digit PIN to pass on. They can sign in within a minute, and you can look the PIN up again or reset it later.

Managing the team

Click a member to open their card:

  • Show login & PIN and Reset PIN.
  • Send a password reset email.
  • Edit their name and their calendar colour, so their lessons are identifiable on a shared calendar.
  • Lesson history and a Lessons taught count.
  • Remove them from the school.

Seats

Your admin account is never counted as a paid seat. Tutors are free during your trial, so you can set up your whole team before deciding anything. After the trial, each tutor is a paid seat at $15/month (or ₽1,490/month if you pay by Russian card) on top of the School plan, which includes three.

The Team page shows how many seats are in use and warns you before an addition changes your bill.

A tutor whose school has no active subscription is shown a page telling them access is paused and to contact their admin. Students are never blocked from work already assigned to them.
